Sea Star Helm Pump (Part 1)

Hey everyone! In this video I remove and tear down my Sea Star HC5345 helm pump to see why it is not functioning. Come to find out, the internals a totally shot. There is some great carnage of the tear down!mI hope this video helps any of you looking to trouble shoot your helm pump problems! More to come of us replacing the rear seals and bleeding the system. I went to West Marine to purchase all of my parts. My pump is is SeaStar pump is HC5345. The kit purchased covers a vast amount of different SeaStar pumps.
