Here is the next installment of screenings and talks exploring gems of Polish cinema, hosted by Polish cinema expert Michael Brooke. There are plenty of bio-pics abut great historical figures and this one depicts the early career of cardiac surgeon Zbigniew Religa. He became a national hero after performing Poland's first heart transplant. We screen the film at Watermans’ cinema on Tues 28th Sept at 7pm and then Michael hosts an online talk and discussion the following evening on Wed 29th Sept at 8pm where you can come and hear more about the film and discuss it.
