The ESPN RPI ratings are out for college football and they are bullish on FAU. According to their metrics, Florida Atlantic is on track for a bowl season, and with some breaks, possibly being in the American Athletic Conference title discussion. A favorable schedule along with some strong weapons and an intact Tom Herman coaching staff has the computers loving FAU's chances at the postseason. A college football playoff berth? First things first, get to six wins. FAU has the 13th best ESPN RPI ranking in the entire Group of 5 and the 4th best in the AAC, behind only UTSA, Tulane & Memphis and ahead of preseason darling USF. As for Week 1 at Michigan State, last year's top college football metric, DRatings.com, thinks FAU could very, very easily have the Spartans on Upset Alert in East Lansing, maybe even more than any other FBS team. Finally, Michigan St. may be retooling on the football field, but they dominate recycling and tractor use. (I'll explain.)

G5, boca raton, florida, south florida, palm beach, broward, dade, miami, fort lauderdale, uconn, wagner, fiu, East Carolina, ECU, Tulsa, North Texas, UNT, Charlotte, Army, Temple, bowl game
