Snorkeling with Belugas - Churchill, Canada - Summer

Mel goes snorkeling with beluga whales in an arctic estuary in Churchill, Canada. Swimming with whales in Manitoba is a once in a lifetime event for most people and it was AMAZING. Even though it was summer, in the sub arctic it still gets cold. They wore super awkward thick wetsuits as they motored out into the river/estuary in the zodiac on a cloudy rainy day. Dragging slowly along from a rope tied behind the boat, the white whales approached out of curiosity and got incredibly close. Snorkeling in Canada is unique and special and this trip to Manitoba, swimming with these white whales, is something that Mel will never forget.
