Our Project E short film is finally here!

This is the 6th and final video of my ETHIO PROJECT & this time round
the topic is "female empowerment through the means of education!"

Join us for this 7-minute look at Addis Ababa's game changing education center that specializes in providing scholarships in hotel operation training to young Ethiopian women to help empower them in their journey to becoming financially independent and well-educated business savvy females who may help develop a brighter future for one of the world's most beautiful countries, ETHIOPIA.

I had the personal pleasure of meeting Aida Bahta (who recently took up a position elsewhere) who was kind enough to introduce me to the kind staff and the amazing young girls at Project E who are studying hard so that they may reach their goals, give back to their communities and provide for their families.

ABOUT PROJECT E

PROJECT-E is an international NGO whose mission is to provide job opportunities for young Ethiopian women from underprivileged social backgrounds through sustainable and market-oriented education in a transparent and responsible manner.

What is their goal in the long run?

"We want to make an impact – a lasting one. Empowering Ethiopian women through education doesn’t only help those individuals but the entire society. Higher education as key to economic development and ultimately the escape from poverty – that is what we have dedicated ourselves to. Increasing the skill and knowledge level of women is our ultimate goal in order to enable them to live an independent and self-determined life."

"Besides this project goal in Ethiopia, the PROJECT-E team in Europe has its agenda as well: Empowering others to empower ourselves. We are all students and young professionals working voluntarily in our free time for this goal – we all share great responsibility in young years which allows us to develop our skills in leadership, project management and determination. Hopefully, we can continue motivate young people from all kinds of background to get involved – there is no better way of challenging yourself and investing in your personal development."
