The 21-storey residential tower HAUT significantly pushes the boundaries of high-rise timber modular construction. The focus of the design team on the efficient use of materials and circular economy principles is considered to be impressive, innovative and highly replicable.

HAUT is the highest hybrid timber tower in the Netherlands. In 2016, the Municipality of Amsterdam selected the design team (Team V and Arup) and Lingotto to develop this tower, for their vision on future cities, creating a balance between architecture and nature. The construction of the tower by JP van Eesteren has started and the completion is planned mid 2021.
