This music is originally written for lute. I found it interesting that the composer was born one year after J.S. Bach and died the same year as him. Therefore I made some research since studying music history was a time long ago.

Here's a quote from Bach Cantatas Website: "Silvius [Sylvius] Leopold Weiss [Weiß] was a German composer and lutenist, the master lutenist of the 18th century and one of the greatest players of all time."
