A question for homeowners to face. What is an iBuyer?Should I Sell My House to an iBuyer? Zillow, Opendoor, Offerpad, and Knock all work as iBuyers. Now, the big box brokerages are getting into the game too. Companies like Keller Williams, Coldwell Banker, Redfin, and the like are all circling the wagon looking for their piece of the pie.

But what about the homeowner? Do they win with this business model? We all know that Venture capital money only gets involved if there's a big income to be reaped. And in this case, you, the homeowner, is the one handing over your hard earned equity.

Sometimes it might make sense if you need a fast move. it'll cost you though. Just like any investor, you have to know that with convenience comes a cost. The easier it is to get out the more it typically costs.

So before you say "I'll sell my house to an iBuyer" think about your equity and how hard you worked to get that.

Moving with children and moving with teenagers does not have to be more stressful than it already is.
