The Joys of Parenthood is a new Short film shot on bmpcc 4k and graded in davinci resolve with a lot of help in writing, directing, acting and filming from my family. This short movie was shoot in 2020 at the time of these Covid-19 lockdowns, and its purpose is to firstly create some entertainment, but also to boost my experience as a director, screen writer, DOP, video editor and to push me in to the sphere on indie film making. This new short film is hopefully just the first in the line of many that i want to direct and film.

I have recently switched from premiere pro to davinci resolve and i have to say that this black magic software was an incredible addition in my filmmaking arsenal. Along with a great editing platform it has introduced me to a completely new way of color grading with which i am more than happy which hopefully translates to the screen.

I will have to apologise for some issues with the audio. At the moment i have with me 1 fully working sennheiser lapell mic and another one that's giving me issues. I don't have a boom mike nor a way to buy one at the moment. I hope you will be able to forgive this mistake especially if you take in to consideration that i was a one man band on this shoot and almost everything was done by me alone. I am the one who did writing the script filming, directing, sound (sadly), editing and even acting along side my superstar daughter. With that in mid i hope you will let this one slide and i will do my best to not repeat those mistakes.
