Hike at Eagle Falls to Eagle Lake (Lake Tahoe)

Enjoyed a beautiful hike in Lake Tahoe at Eagle Falls to Eagle Lake. The scenery is gorgeous -- the video does not do it justice; you have to go for yourself and enjoy the views.

Tong and I love coming to this place for a short winter hike, but we've never come without snow and wanted to give it a try. It was magnificent and we will definitely return again. This video will "spoil" your lake view surprise, but it is so much more beautiful in person so definitely still make the hike!

The hike itself was pretty easy going: a lot of going up, then coming back down. A little hard on the knees coming down -- maybe because I'm short so it seemed like steep steps. You reach the water fall pretty quick, but take a little bit longer to get to the lake. We did a little detour to the river, but not that far away. Great weather (we went at the end of May), and lots of trees for shade.
