House of Elliot Jane Austen Sense & Sensibility Wedding Inspiration. Video by Mc Gill Sister Films.

Dedicated to the bride who loves the elegance and romance of Jane Austen's era but at the same time has a desire to express her individual style, we created this shoot with unique period inspired twists. Each scene was carefully styled by House of Elliot and included our handmade lace boots, accessories by All Things Lucy, lingerie by Shell Belle Couture, and dresses by Emma Hunt, Truvelle Bridal and TH&TH Bridesmaids. Staying true to the period influence of the shoot we incorporated original vintage details, including antique crockery and china, crystal glassware and soft laces and satins.
Spanning all elements of a wedding day including a beautiful boudoir scene which showcases the romance of the Regency era in a soft and contemporary style, and a formal dining scene, the day culminated with an outdoor picnic. Jane Austen set many of her scenes in Sense and Sensibility outdoors, so the landscaped grounds of Purton House were made even more perfect by the swans in the stream which nestles at the foot of the lawn, provided the most idyllic setting to finish the day.
