In the face of an ever-increasing number of Law Enforcement Officers making the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty, our communities are left grappling with the profound loss. It is in these moments of heartbreak that Concerns of Police Survivors, or C.O.P.S., emerges as a beacon of support for the families and co-workers left to navigate the aftermath of such tragedies.

Since 2004, the West Central Florida Chapter of COPS has been tirelessly working alongside agencies across 9 counties in the Tampa Bay area. Their mission is clear - providing the essential resources these families face survivors need to rebuild their shattered lives. COPS stands at the forefront, addressing the multifaceted challenges these families face – be it the mental, emotional, financial, or legal aspects of their journey.

It is not how these officers died that made them heroes, it is how they lived.
