In Part 2 of my review of the cheapest fully built AR-15 you can buy, we dig into why this $349 Anderson rifle refuses to cycle properly. After a rough first impression, I went back to the range determined to figure out what’s going on.

We started with a deep clean and proper lubrication. Then we ran a single-round test, swapped the buffer and spring, even changed the BCG—but nothing seemed to fix it for more than a few shots.

Then… we found something that explained everything. Something that should’ve never made it out of the factory.
