Devi was in so anger that Bhudevi was pledging Devi to calm herdown. finally shiv assume in the form of batuk and pacified the Devi."

''देवी ने दारुक से अपनी सारी शक्ति छीन ली और देवी ने दारुक का गला काट दिया और उसे दंडित किया। दारुका ने पूछा देवी से माफ़ी मांगती है और कहती है कि वह दारुका वान को ख़त्म नहीं करती क्योंकि दारुका वान उसके जैसी ही है
बालक, देवी उनके पास से निकल जाती है और अपने क्रोध से और अधिक आग फैला रही है। देवी इतने क्रोध में थीं कि
भूदेवी देवी को शांत करने का वचन दे रही थी। अंततः शिव ने बटुक का रूप धारण किया और उन्हें शांत किया
देवी।"
