The Ancient Way - Clare Bell

Jeremiah 6 v 16 says...

This is what the Lord says:

“Stand at the crossroads and look;
ask for the ancient paths,
ask where the good way is, and walk in it,
and you will find rest for your souls...."

Let us be the ones that say 'yes we will walk in it'.

Whilst hiking recently I happened to find an old walkway called Saint Illtyd's Walk. I never even knew the Celtic saint had a walkway near my house! And indeed it had become a stream!

Meditating on this later, I saw the stream of the ancient path surrounded by a dark glory cloud. I knew this was the way God was calling us; Spirit-led and immersed in His glory. There is something ancient about it, but also brand new and never trod before.
