Patriots Falls to Breaux Bridge After Fifth Inning Score

Patriots lost the lead late in a 6-4 defeat to Breaux Bridge on Thursday. Breaux Bridge trailed 4-3 in the bottom of the fifth inning when Hebert doubled on a 1-1 count, scoring two runs.

Patriots got things started in the second inning when Leblanc induced Camden Breaux to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored.

Leblanc earned the victory on the mound for Breaux Bridge. Leblanc went six and a third innings, allowing four runs on four hits and striking out two. #2 threw two-thirds of an inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Aiden Leonard took the loss for Patriots. The pitcher surrendered five runs on two hits over four and a third innings, striking out four.

Dylan Naquin went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Patriots in hits.

Breaux Bridge collected six hits. Gregory and Hebert each managed multiple hits for Breaux Bridge.
