The man accused of entering a Linda Vista home and sexually assaulting a 5-year-old girl pleaded not guilty in court Wednesday.

Alejandro Jose Confesor, 22, faced a judge in Downtown San Diego Court Wednesday and pleaded not guilty to lewd and lascivious acts with a child under 14 with force, sex crime with specific circumstances, assault with intent to commit rape or other sex acts during residential burglary, burglary, and trespassing.

The judge agreed to the prosecutor's request for no bail due to the nature of the charges and allegations.
