With Navjot Singh Sidhu resigning as president of Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee (PPCC) and former chief minister Captain Amarinder Singh headed to New Delhi amid speculation that he might meet senior BJP leaders, trouble seems to be brewing for the Congress party in Punjab. Asked about his PCC chief's resignation, Punjab CM Charanjit Singh Channi said he had no knowledge of the same and would speak to Sidhu.
