Equivalent Resistance of Resistors Series :-
Components of an electrical circuit or electronic circuit can be connected in many different ways. One of the simplest method is called " Series ". Components connected in series are connected along a single path, so the same current flows through all of the components. A circuit composed completely of components connected in series is known as a series circuit. In a series circuit, the current through each of the components is the same, and the voltage across the circuit is the sum of the voltages across each component. If Rs be the resistance of the series combinations R1, R2 and R3 then, Rs = R1 + R2 + R3.

This video explains how to determine the equivalent resistance of two resistors when connected in series.
