Visiting Tahoe with kids has always been a good experience for us. This year, we celebrated New Year's in South Lake Tahoe with Nehemiah's family. We had booked this trip a year in advance and had no idea that Lake Tahoe would be getting record snow that would make this a trip to remember.

After being stuck in traffic, thanks to the Tahoe snowstorm that set records for December 2021, we ended up staying the night in Reno. Once we met up with our family in South Lake Tahoe, we went BACK to Reno to ski Mt. Rose. Mt. Rose had great skiing for kids and beginners, so it was well worth the trip.

As always, Tahoe with kids was and adventure that we would trade for anything. South Lake Tahoe is earning a special place in our hearts.
