Join us and discover the meaning of Nowruz and some of the rich traditions of this ancient celebration. After Storytime, let’s learn the significance behind the Haft-Sin table that families assemble for the holiday. A bowl of goldfish is often placed on the table symbolizing life. In honor of this tradition, we’ll have fun creating our own goldfish and bowl using materials found at home.
Materials Needed: Two paper plates, two coffee filters, string, markers, clear plastic wrap, tape, water, and straw
