A complete gameplay of Sonic Blast for the Game Gear version

While Sonic was resting in a hammock with a Chaos Emerald in his hand, the gem begins to glow with a blinding light, awakening our hero. The hedgehog watches as the stone glows brighter until it shatters into several pieces. Dr. Eggman, who appears on the scene, tells Sonic that he had planned to attack him with a laser, but targeted the Emerald instead. He also tells him about his plan to build a fortress called Silver Castle and find the scattered pieces of the Chaos Emerald. Knuckles appears from behind a palm tree and, seeing what has happened, teams up with the hedgehog to retrieve the Emerald fragments and foil Eggman's plans.

Will this new duo be able to put an end to Eggman's plans?
