It’s finally here!! 🎉 After four years of delays, decision-making, construction hiccups, and plenty of “why did we do this again?” moments — the addition to our home is officially DONE… for real this time. 👏🏼

If you’ve been following our journey, you know this has been a LONG time coming. We always planned to add onto our house when we moved in, and well... that was years ago. The big stuff wrapped up two years in, but we were still missing some key pieces — like closets, built-ins, and a few lingering repairs. And now, two more years later, we finally did it all — and I am so excited to share the final chapter of our home addition with you! 🙌

In this video, I take you on a full tour of the closets, built-ins, the new hallway storage, bathroom updates, and yes — the SECRET DOOR that connects our boys’ closets (which the kids are obsessed with). 😍 It’s one of those features that adds such a fun and unexpected layer of character to the home we’ve been working so hard to make ours.

To save some money (because built-ins are so expensive), we decided to use IKEA PAX closet systems, and we honestly LOVE how they turned out. Are they custom? No. But they saved us thousands of dollars, and gave us the clean, functional storage we really needed — especially with a big family like ours!
