St. Augustine Casablanca Inn sleep over Investigation My Haunted Diary

Описание к видео St. Augustine Casablanca Inn sleep over Investigation My Haunted Diary

Welcome to part 5 of the My Haunted Diary series in Saint Augustine, Florida.
This is also the final episode in this series.
In this episode me and my wife Martie continue from where the video left off in
December of 2017. It was an unfashionable cold Florida night.
We go back to the Casablanca Inn for the night and do some exploring and investigating.
EVPs are captured, EMF hits on K2 Meter. We do a Spirit Box session as well.

The Casablanca Inn, originally named The Matanzas Hotel, was constructed in 1914 by the architect known as Mr. Butler. The 2-story Mediterranean Revival style building and its carriage house are located on the Matanzas Bay; the same bay Pedro Menendez had traveled through and founded the city of St. Augustine centuries prior. Menendez was tasked by the Spanish crown to get rid of the French Protestants living on the shores of St. Augustine, which he did by slaughtering them. Mantanzas means “massacre".
A few years later, the Inn changed hands and the Massacre Hotel officially became The Casablanca Inn. It has since been added to the National Register of Historic Places.

During its early days as a boarding house, the Casablanca was home to children and families and a refuge for traveling salesmen. The Casablanca Inn played a major role during the prohibition era of the 1920’s. The Inn’s original operator Ms. Bradshaw helped bootleggers smuggle alcohol into the bay. On nights when ships were scheduled to bring in their illegal cargo, Ms. Bradshaw would take a lantern up to the second story window and wave it back and forth to notify the bootlegger’s ships that no government officials or law enforcement were in the area.
.
Visitors have reported seeing the ghost of Ms.Bradshaw. Others witnessing a small child vanish into a wall.
Unknown to Me and Martie, Ms. Bradshaw is buried in the Huguenot Cemetery, which we explore at night in the previous My Haunted Diary episode.

Others have said they’ve seen a lantern waving in the window; and staff as well as guests have heard the sound of footsteps in the hall when no one was there.

Others say they can smell the scent of oranges, but only for a fleeting moment.
Many have witnessed a misty fog that floats through the air in several different spots around the inn.

Visitors have also said they’ve seen and heard children playing in different rooms inside the inn; although no children were anywhere in sight. And others felt like someone was touching their shoulder, even though they were alone in a room.

People who have stayed inside constantly complain about the eerie wailing and screams emanating from the walls.
