The Peacocks advanced to the 2nd Round Qualifying of the Emirates FA Cup with a comfortable 3-0 home win over Didcot Town this afternoon.

Taunton broke the deadlock on the half hour when Eddie Jones advanced from the right to fire home before the lead was doubled ten minutes into the second half courtesy of David Duru’s close range header. Jake Hodgson’s overhead effort struck the cross bar but he had better luck after 76 minutes when he drilled home from the edge of the box for Town’s third while the woodwork again came to Didcot’s rescue when Evander Grubb hit the post.
