Roadtrip to Daringbadi from Kolkata | Stay at Daringbadi Nature Camp | Ecotourism Odisha | EP 1

Recently with wife Mou and our one year old son Borno, we went on a roadtrip to Daringbadi - The Kashmir of Odisha from Kolkata. We booked Daringbadi nature camp on the ecotourism Odisha's website. Daringbadi is a very peaceful hillstation in Odisha situated at an altitude of 3000 ft. The drive from Kolkata was really good. We stopped at Bhubaneswar for a night and next morning we continued to Daringbadi. We decided to have brunch at Swosti Chilika Resort which is just 3kms from the highway. Buffet breakfast was really good. The property is huge with swimming pool and location wise it is very near to the Chilika Lake. The road to Daringbadi is very scenic and the drive was truly amazing. Driving on the ghat section is a thrill for every driving enthusiast. Finally we reached Daringbadi Nature Camp at sunset. The sky was spectacular and the valley was so beautiful from the nature camp. The weather in Daringbadi was cold but pleasant. We had our late lunch without delay. The food is as good as homemade and is served hot. After lunch we freshened up and spent the evening around bonfire. Dinner was served early and finally we took shelter under our blankets.

The next morning, we woke up to a beautiful sunrise. We captured some drone shots of Daringbadi for you to enjoy. We had breakfast and headed out to check out Midubanda Waterfall. Midubanda waterfall is a must visit if you are coming to Daringbadi. Our little son Borno was awestruck watching the waterfall for the very first time. We spent some beautiful moments here. We continued our drive thereafter as we wanted to check out the lover's point.
Overall our roadtrip to Daringbadi was amazing.. We were truly amazed with its natural beauty. We loved the scenic views and peaceful environment of the Daringbadi Nature camp. We shall definitely be back again, soon. This is the first episode of our roadtrip to explore ecotourism Odisha.
