Why I DON'T like Back Button Focusing - and What you Can do Instead (Canon). So many people claim Back Button Focusing is the only way to go, which I totally disagree with. Whilst I like the principle I don't like the technique. In this video I share my thoughts on BBF and give you an alternative method to set up your own auto-focus, particularly for bird photography. If you like BBF... great. keep using it - but YOU DON'T HAVE TO! Use what works for you!
