Brigitte Angerhausen studied Sound Engineering at Columbia College of Liberal Arts in Chicago USA. Back in Germany she worked for a couple of recording studios in the Düsseldorf area, then she went to work in a sound studio in Madrid (Spain) recording and mixing for several soundtrack composers. Since 1993 she is a freelancer in the EU on projects with (e.g.) Phil Collins (UK), Mark Knopfler (UK), Megapolis (RU), Sheryl Crow (USA), Peter Erskine (USA), Kelly Family (D), Nina Hagen (D), BAP (D – Gold Record for „Aff un zoo“), Michael von der Heide (Switzerland) etc. Since 2003 she also works on music productions for WDR (Cologne, Germany).
Her main focus is on recording and mixing acoustic music and instruments (Jazz, Rock, Pop, classical symphonic and chamber music, contemporary music). Furthermore, as a pianist and bandleader, she publishes her own compositions and arrangements (5 CDs since 2007).
