Doubling Down and Dark Personality

The psychological trait of disagreeableness is a common characteristic associated with narcissism, and doubling down in the context of being disagreeable involves persistently maintaining a position, often to the point of stubbornness, when faced with honest feedback, opposing viewpoints or even contradictory evidence.

This video looks at some common ways and reasons why people with dark personality traits double down and dig their heels in when faced with opposition, challenge or even their own wrong doing. From non sensical reasoning, word salad to aggression and often showing a lack of empathy or remorse for those they hurt in their attempts to regain superiority.
