জন্মাষ্টমী উপলক্ষে মায়াপুর ইসকনের উপচে পড়ছে পড়া ভিড়। মাঝে মাত্র একটি দিন, তারপরে গোটা দেশ সহ বিভিন্ন মন্দিরে এবং সাধারণ মানুষের ঘরে ঘরে পালিত হবে শ্রীকৃষ্ণের জন্মাষ্টমী উৎসব। জন্মাষ্টমী উপলক্ষে ইতিমধ্যেই মায়াপুর ইসকনে হাজার হাজার দেশি-বিদেশি ভক্তদের ঢল নেমেছে।

রবিবার সন্ধ্যারতির পর থেকেই জন্মাষ্টমীর অধিবাস শুরু হয়ে যাবে ইসকনের চন্দ্রোদয় মন্দিরে। সোমবার ভোরে দর্শনারতি পরে মঙ্গল আরতি এর পরেই বিশ্ব শান্তি যোগ্য দামোদর অষ্টকম সহ শ্রীকৃষ্ণের সহস্রনাম পাঠ শুরু হবে। এরপর সন্ধ্যার পর থেকেই শুরু হবে মহা অভিষেক প্রস্তুতি পর্ব। ইসকনের উপবাস করে এই মহাভিষেক অনুষ্ঠানে যোগ দেবেন।

শ্রীকৃষ্ণের জন্মের সন্ধিক্ষণে এই মহাবিশ্বের অনুষ্ঠান চলবে রাত প্রায় দেড়টা পর্যন্ত। বিশুদ্ধ সিদ্ধান্ত পঞ্জিকা মতে ইসকনের প্রধান কেন্দ্র মায়াপুর সহ বিশ্বের প্রতিটা মন্দিরে একই সঙ্গে একই যোগে চলবে, শ্রীকৃষ্ণের জন্মাষ্টমী উৎসব।

মন্দিরের চাপ এড়াতে বাইরে জায়েন্ট স্ক্রিন বসানো হয়েছে। করা হয়েছে অস্থায়ী প্যান্ডেল। গোটা ইসকন চত্ত্বরকে ফুল ও আলোকমালায় সাজানো হয়েছে। অন্যান্য উৎসবের মতোই জন্মাষ্টমীতে আরও অসংখ্য ভক্তের সমাগম ঘটবে বলে আশা প্রকাশ করছে ইসকন।

শাস্ত্র মতে ভাদ্র মাসের কৃষ্ণপক্ষের অষ্টমীর দিনে কৃষ্ণ জন্মাষ্টমী পালিত হয়ে থাকে সর্বত্র। মথুরা, বৃন্দাবনের অনুষ্ঠান এবং মায়াপুর ইসকন মন্দিরে জন্মাষ্টমী অনুষ্ঠান ভক্তদের কাছে বিশেষ আকর্ষণীয়। শাস্ত্রীয় বৈদিক রীতি অনুসারে নানাবিধ আচার অনুষ্ঠানের মাধ্যমে এই অনুষ্ঠান পালিত হয়। তেমনি ইসকন মন্দির প্রাঙ্গনে অনুষ্ঠিত হবে শ্রীকৃষ্ণের আবির্ভাব অনুষ্ঠান। দেশ বিদেশ থেকে আসা পুণ্যার্থীদের জন্য বিশেষ মহা প্রসাদের ব্যবস্থা করা হয় মন্দিরে। সেজে ওঠে গোটা মন্দির চত্বর।
Mayapur ISKCON is overflowing with people on the occasion of Janmashtami. Just one day in between, then the Janmashtami festival of Lord Krishna will be celebrated in various temples and in the homes of common people, including the entire country. On the occasion of Janmashtami, thousands of local and foreign devotees have already flocked to Mayapur ISKCON.

Janmashtami will start from Sunday evening at ISKCON's Chandradoya Mandir. On Monday morning Darshanarti followed by Mangal Aarti will start recitation of Sri Krishna's Sahasranam along with Damodar Ashtakam worthy of world peace. After that, the preparation phase of the Grand Abhishek will begin in the evening. ISKCON will attend this Mahabhishek ceremony by fasting.

On the eve of Krishna's birth, this cosmic event will continue till about 1:30 am. According to the Siddhanta Panjika, the Janmashtami festival of Lord Krishna will be held simultaneously in every temple in the world, including Mayapur, the main center of ISKCON.
A giant screen has been placed outside to avoid pressure on the temple. A temporary pandal has been made. The entire ISKCON premises are decorated with flowers and lights. Like other festivals, ISKCON hopes that Janmashtami will attract more devotees.

According to the scriptures, Krishna Janmashtami is celebrated everywhere on the Ashtami day of the Krishna Paksha month of Bhadrapada. Janmashtami ceremonies at Mathura, Vrindavan and Mayapur ISKCON temples are particularly attractive to devotees. This event is celebrated with various rituals according to classical Vedic rituals. Similarly, the appearance ceremony of Lord Krishna will be held in the premises of the ISKCON temple. Special Maha Prasad is arranged in the temple for pilgrims from the country and abroad. The entire temple area is decorated.

जन्माष्टमी के अवसर पर मायापुर इस्कॉन में भीड़ उमड़ पड़ी है। बस एक दिन बीच, फिर देशभर के विभिन्न मंदिरों और आम लोगों के घरों में भगवान कृष्ण का जन्मोत्सव मनाया जाएगा। जन्माष्टमी के अवसर पर मायापुर इस्कॉन में पहले से ही हजारों की संख्या में स्थानीय और विदेशी भक्त उमड़ पड़े हैं।

इस्कॉन के चंद्रोदय मंदिर में रविवार शाम से जन्माष्टमी शुरू होगी। सोमवार सुबह दर्शन आरती के बाद मंगल आरती के बाद विश्व शांति के योग्य दामोदर अष्टकम के साथ श्रीकृष्ण सहस्रनाम का पाठ शुरू होगा। इसके बाद शाम से ग्रैंड डेब्यू की तैयारी का दौर शुरू हो जाएगा. इस्कॉन इस महाभिषेक समारोह में उपवास रखकर शामिल होगा।

कृष्ण जन्म की पूर्व संध्या पर यह ब्रह्मांडीय घटना रात करीब 1:30 बजे तक जारी रहेगी. सिद्धांत पंजिका के अनुसार, इस्कॉन के मुख्य केंद्र मायापुर सहित दुनिया के हर मंदिर में भगवान कृष्ण का जन्माष्टमी उत्सव एक साथ मनाया जाएगा।
