In this issue, Forge bumps into NYPD Officer Charlotte Jones in Alphabet City, while he's being hunted by a cadre of Genoshan Magistrates; after the Magistrates kill Jones' partner, she and Forge take refuge in the storm tunnels below the street; meanwhile, the Press Gang neutralise X-Factor's Ship in order to capture Philip Moreau and Jenny Ransome who are sheltering there with X-Factor; Banshee, Jean Grey, Beast, Colossus and Callisto fight the Press Gang and Magistrates, while Forge and Officer Jones tackle Wipeout, which restores Ship, who easily subdues the Genoshans; however, a government official tells Jones' police chief to let the Genoshans go; finally, Banshee and Jean decide to let the still-amnesiac Colossus live happily ever after with Callisto in SoHo!
