Here are 4 tips to maximize your potential for inspiration in every Industrial design project. However, this advice works no matter the design discipline.⁠

"How do you find inspiration?"⁠
This question came to me from a student, Andrew, one day in class. My response is this video.

Since that day, I've been thinking a lot about how I approach the process of finding inspiration for design work. The first thing I know for certain - it is at once mysterious and methodical. ⁠

The video goes beyond obvious suggestions like "go to this cool website" and digs into the heart of finding inspiration: offering a healthy mix of woo woo and tangible. ⁠

I can't promise that you will feel all twinkly after watching the video but I can say, what I share is wisdom honed from 11 years of working. ⁠
