Quick How-To: Mazda Protege Oil Change

Quick instructional video on how to do an oil change on a 2.0L Mazda Protege (1999-2003). Engine code FS-DE.

Oil Capacity: 3.5L (3.7L with dry filter, check oil level once filled)
Oil type: 5w-30 / 10w-30 (10w-30 for summer, 5w-30 for winter)

Tools Needed:
-17mm wrench
-Oil filter wrench
-Drain pan
-Jack + Jackstands
-Funnel


BE SURE TO DISPOSE OF OIL AND FILTER CORRECTLY- it can be taken to any autoparts store to be recycled.
