Ex AA Van Camper Conversion - Picking Up Our Van

Hi guys and welcome to the first of my campervan series!

We have been talking for so long about getting a van and converting it in to our very own camper so we can enjoy the odd weekend away, little road trips to wherever and also to give us a little more comfort during Shane’s race weekends.

I’ve always wanted a bright yellow van… and the ex AA vans are the only ones you can get in yellow. So we made the decision to buy an ex AA van from a great dealer called Exeter Diesels.
We put the deposit down and before they gave us the van, they did a service and found it needed some work doing ( wet belt and a few other bits ) and they did the work for us which saved us a huge £1500!

The next video in this series will be the removal of the racking, bulkhead and flooring.
After that, the van is going away to have a pop top fitted!
