Protect Your Hearing: What Noise Does to Your Ears | WorkSafeBC

Описание к видео Protect Your Hearing: What Noise Does to Your Ears | WorkSafeBC

Hearing loss can seriously affect your lifestyle. Watch this video to find out what workplace noise does to your ears, what you can do to prevent noise-induced hearing loss, and how hearing loss can affect your daily life.

Noise-induced hearing loss is permanent but preventable. This is a useful training tool to remind all young workers and experienced workers in British Columbia to wear the appropriate hearing protection in the workplace.

When hazardous noise can’t be reduced by other means, your employer is responsible for providing appropriate hearing protection, such as earplugs or earmuffs. If you don’t have the appropriate hearing protection, speak to your supervisor before starting work. Always wear hearing protection while working in a loud environment.
