The traditional dance of the #Baloch_people of Iran is mainly known as "Chaap" or "Chaap Balochi", which is a type of male and epic group dance and is accompanied by rapid hand movements (chaap), sharp turns, jumps and sword-fighting-like movements and is usually performed at weddings, holidays and ethnic celebrations. This dance is accompanied by the playing of traditional instruments such as the sorooz (Balochi violin), dhelak, tanburak and epic songs in the Balochi language and expresses courage, zeal and ethnic identity. Balochi women also have their own dances, which are mostly circular and with soft and rhythmic movements of the hands and waist and are often performed in female groups. The traditional attire of #Baloch_women is one of the most beautiful and colorful Iranian costumes, which includes the "Peshk" (a large, embroidered headscarf with the famous Balochi embroidery), "Sarag" (loose, pleated trousers), "Joomeh" or "Gwen" (a long, loose shirt), and especially the very precise and artistic embroidery on black, red, or dark green fabrics that is world-famous. Men also usually wear a white or light-colored garment, loose trousers (Jahu or Panton), a turban or headscarf, and an embroidered vest.
