Before I truely begin the journey with the Mystical Ninja deck, I want to make a tribute to the deck that I have first worked on since returning to the game. This is a "pure" Gagaga build.

Where to begin with this...um:

I have been working on this deck since my return to Yu-Gi-Oh!. From what I remember, I was one day looking for something to watch on TV one Saturday morning (even though I don't generally watch TV that much anymore now), when I suddenly stumbled across it: Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal.

I had stopped watching the shows and being interested in the game since early-mid GX era. I did see Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's at times when it was airing, but it didn't really interest me enough to come back to the game, even with the Synchro mechanic.

Now only did the Zexal show interest me back to the game with the Number Xyz monsters, but with the Xyz mechanic itself.

I dedicated to try and create a deck that can summon and utilize the Number Xyz monsters. Of course, the Gagaga archetype seemed to be the best bet at achieving this. Man, I remember when there was only Gagaga Magician and Gagaga Girl...they've come a long way.

As you can probably guess, as the Gagaga members came by, I tried to utilize them together as much as possible, while still trying to remain on the summoning the Number monsters theme. It even still shows here in the video, as most of the Xyz monsters in the extra deck are Number monsters except for Gagaga Cowboy and Gagaga Samurai.

As the Gagaga support came by, I went more and more toward a pure Gagaga build for the deck. Only reason why is because it felt more right to me, and I felt like it was becoming more possible to do from all the newer support.

Does Gagaga really work out as a "pure" build?...that's what I'm not really sure about.

That's the thing though: Despite spending all this time trying to perfect the deck for me, I don't feel like I will ever "perfect" this deck. I'm not even sure if I know what I'm even doing with the deck anymore, and is probably why I am no longer mainly focusing on this deck.

This is even why I removed several videos I had talking about the Gagaga archetype and support (Besides being extremely awkward talking in real life...). Despite trying to be as unbiased as possible about each card, I feel like I was still being biased in the end. Even then, did I even know what I was talking about with each card when trying to say on the possible utility of them?

I do appreciate the deck helping me develop my deck building skills (even though it's still questionable, I guess I could at least say I improved), along with my best friend helping me with it's development. It was a good time, but I no longer feel that I fully understand the archetype and what's best for them. Funny how World Superstars for TCG is just around the corner and my main focus is no longer on this archetype, thinking about it.
