George Washington's Vision for America: Past and Future Perils.

Описание к видео George Washington's Vision for America: Past and Future Perils.

America the land of the free and home of the brave. George Washington was a man of faith and prayer.

The vision depicted three great wars on American soil. The first was the revolutionary war, the second was the civil war and the third was a war yet to come.

And now, America is in great turmoil. There has never been a great divide in political and moral issues. As Abraham Lincoln said "A house divided cannot stand." But did you know he was quoting the bible. 'And if a kingdom would be divided against itself, that kingdom is not able to stand. And if a house would be divided against itself, that house will not be able to stand.' Mark 3:24-25

I ponder about these words and makes me wonder about my own life. What about my own house...my own family...my own church. I think now more than ever there has been a great divide in our nation even on this scale for people personally.

George Washington was one of our biggest founders of our nation. I count him like Moses to Israel. He had to go through a lot of issues to set his people free. Free from tyranny. Free from oppression and a right to serve God in a way He intended for the nation. Our foundations are very similar. So much so that they wanted to make the parting of the waters and crossing of the Israelites on our money.

Most people are unsure about the future. And maybe there will be a lot of pain and trouble. But I would like to believe that God would be involved with such Godly men, especially the founders of a nation with Godly principles. `Son of the Republic, what you have seen is thus interpreted: Three great perils will come upon the Republic. The most fearful is the third, but in this greatest conflict the whole world united shall not prevail against her. Let every child of the Republic learn to live for his God, his land and the Union'. With these words the vision vanished, and I started from my seat and felt that I had seen a vision wherein had been shown to me the birth, progress, and destiny of the United States.
