It is possible to avoid triggering the cutscene where the gate closes. Using the torrent robe, place a series of water pillars on the bottom edge of the left cliff while also moving precisely at the bottom edge of the pillars. The closer the pillars are placed to the edge of the cliff, the more room for error you have for this. After getting around the trigger, navigate around to where the chest with the silver rupee is and place a pillar there. In order to do so, face directly left while at the right side of the chest. Once the pillar is placed, quickly position yourself around the bottom of the pillar, face up-left, and use a dash cancel to make it to the Triforce while still avoiding the cutscene.

The second clip is just meant to show how precise the lining between falling off and activating the cutscene is.
