In this video, I take on the rugged terrain of Pole Hill Trail in Estes Park — a moderate off-road route winding through Roosevelt National Forest, known for its sweeping views and rocky climbs. After navigating the trail, I set up camp near The Notch, a dramatic overlook with wild panoramic views that make the effort worth every bump. As the sun dipped behind the peaks, I fired up the camp stove and cooked some good southern food, just before a storm rolled in and added its own twist to the night.

Note: This video was filmed before any fire bans were in effect. If you plan to explore this spot yourself, please be respectful, practice Leave No Trace, and always bring enough water to fully extinguish your fire. Let’s keep these wild places wild.
