Comedian and combat sports fan Elliot Steel (‪@elliotsteel4625‬) goes inside the world of slap fighting in the UK, a rising sport which has viral clips of its slaps taking over our algorithms.

The rules of slap fighting are simple – two people go head-to-head by slapping one another as hard as they can, with the hope of knocking each other out. Here’s the thing, the fighters are not allowed to block, dodge or even flinch. As a result, the sport is starting to cause both controversy with other martial artists and with the general public for its safety. Elliot travels to meet the rising stars of the UK’s league, Britslap, and attends his first fight in Liverpool, uncovering what makes this sport such a phenomenon. Is slap fighting the new combat sport for the TikTok generation or is it just a fast track route to brain injury?
