Antarctic krill song dance

Описание к видео Antarctic krill song dance

This is the animated song and dance of Euphausia superba (Antarctic krill). It expresses knowledge shared by Antarctic scientists from their years of observation and data analysis, to artist Lisa Roberts. Words come from Antarctic krill biologists Rob King and So Kawaguchi from the Australian Antarctic Division. Their words are arranged in Renku poetic form, the Japanese form suggested by Antarctic scientist, data analyst and shakuhachi player Rupert Summerson. Song-writer and performer Jane Younghusband arranges and sings the lyrics, and composes and records the music. Lisa Roberts sets her animations to Jane's recording - animations made over many years from working with krill biologists to understand the life story of Euphausia superba.
