Why we don't recommend black Side bars!
Volkswagen Transporter T5 T6 Side bar issues! Time to Replace!!

When choosing your new side bars wether you have a VW T5 T6, Ford Transit Custom or Vivaro, many face the dilemma.... Chrome or Black?
We recommend the Polished Stainless Steel Side bars but if you do want the black side bars to work with your looks then please go for the powder coated or painted stainless steel.
Over the years we've seen many issues with the cheaper mild steel black side bars and some of them rusting within a year!
We've installed quite a few of the stainless ones and powder coated stainless and these have lasted for many years!
