I picked up this lil and I mean LITTLE welder to do fix some brackets on my Boat trailer....and thus far....it had impressed me.

Welder that runs off 110v is better for me than 220V, well I don't have a 220 outlet in my garage/shop.

I was running 3/32 7018 rods made by Washington Alloy.

I started at 70 amps, then 90, finally 100 which seemed to worked the best and produced the best results.

Over all......for $60 bucks on Amazon....I do not think you can go wrong with it.
