Bananthimari Betta is also know as Karadi Betta and also Mari Betta. Bananthimari Betta gets its name from the temple that is situated at the base of the peak.

Bananthimar Betta is a 6km away from Kanakapura and 60km from Bangalore. There is no entry ticket for this trek. however the trail is not easy to find you will get lost easily.

Bananthimari Batta total trek distance is 5km. and it is a easy trek that is suitable for beginners. its recommend to take a local guide todo this trek.

Good comfortable shoes preferably trekking shoes

I went on this trek with the Backpackers united. It was a single day trek where we left at 4:30 AM from Indiranagar and returned by 2:30 PM. It is a relatively easy and short trek that is enjoyable as a quick weekend getaway.
