The pictures on Nebraska's registration website do a terrible job showing the layout of these cabins. They often use repeat pictures from other cabins taken years before the remodel.
Winter is the best time for this park as it's easy to reserve one anytime. The ice skating is excellent and the lodge dining is more relaxing.
Unlike at Platte River State Park, these cabins you don't need to bring your accessory electric heater.
