Brookwood Village - The nicest Dead-Mall walk-through - Alabama Mall

Welcome to Brookwood Village, nestled along a mountain in Homewood Alabama. Probably the most beautiful dead mall there is to walk through. This mall had a facelift just a few years ago. It's a very pretty mall, although not the biggest, but I always liked it. The center food court which is my thumbnail is my favorite part. The mall has room for 2 anchor stores, it has an office building, it has a parking garage, and even some more upscale stores and a food court just outside.
I haven't been here since the start of the pandemic, and was quite taken aback at how empty it was, considering this is a nice mall, in a very nice neighborhood, near to a decent sized university, and with a great location.

The mall is slated to be redeveloped.
