How tall did glossopteris grow? Glossopteris was the largest and best-known genus of the extinct order of seed ferns known as Glossopteridales. A look at some large fossilised glossopteris trees that have been deposited within a fluvial delta setting of the late Permian on the east coast of Australia. One of the trees measures over 13 feet tall.
Also glossopteris root Vertebraria, what is it? and what does it look like? Both found within the Sydney Basin of NSW Australia.
