‪@ecoutesauvert‬organized the Berlin album release night for BANDIT VOYAGE 3rd album at legendary Prenzlauerberg rock venue ‪@8mmbarlive837‬

Here they perform a greatly extended version of "Ma Mère" from their 2nd album.

‪@banditvoyage‬, hailing from Geneva, Switzerland - is a unique duo with elements of Rock, No Wave, Pop, Garage and Electronics sporting drum machines, guitar, bass, occasional auto-tune & oriental melodies.

The band is fronted by Anissa, an intriguing singer with Berbere origins singing semi-ironic lyrics with her singular voice. She's flanked by talented co-singer/musician Robin, who used to play with the Mama Rosin duo that toured in Europe (Sziget Festival...). Both play in other projects too (Barrio Colette, L'Orage...) and Robin produces many bands in the French part of Switzerland with the bubbling Cheptel Records.

On their 2nd album, Bandit Voyage also had a dancy No Wavy James Chance style track with a feature from none other than Lee Scratch Perry!    • Bandit Voyage - Amour sur le beat (Clip of...  

In the past two years, they've played all over Switzerland, shows in France and Festivals in Europe. They put out their 3rd album in November 2023 and this night at 8mm was their Berlin release concert after several other shows in underground venues across Berlin (Loophole, Ziegra...) that were also organized by Ecoutes au vert (EAV).
