2022 Subaru WRX; Stock exhaust versus optional STI exhaust

Wrx number one: white 2022 6 spd manual, brand new

Wrx number two: gray 2023 CVT auto, brand new

In person: they were both droney on cold start, the STI was a bit nicer and a bit louder, but the normal exhaust is already decently loud, the STI exhaust didn’t add too much to it

The CVT won’t let you rev much in park, and I think if the STI exhaust was on a manual car it would’ve sounded better

During driving: STI exhaust sounded better on the top end, normal exhaust was more growly and rougher sounding

Overall opinion: I prefer the STI exhaust as it smooths out the tone and vibrations and was a noticeable change
